In this album are collected 11 compositions by Marco Frisina. Even in today’s world, which seems so distracted and confused, the Cross has its full force painful and heroic, terrible and glorious, and resplendent with its light above the pettiness and sin as an eloquent sign of love without boundaries and without measure. The words are an intense profession of faith which amplifies the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed giving it a new force.

Such is the journey through the desert to reach the light of the encounter. I hope that vitx journey of Lent can strengthen our soul and make it agile in the fight against sin and vit in doing good. Two other songs are taken from the Oratorio “On the Road to Emmaus” and celebrate the risen Christ also invoking His saving presence.

I also added some songs linked to the mystery of vocation to the priesthood dk to the memories of Pastors, whose verses are inspired by biblical texts. The simple prayer of the Franciscan tradition presents us rather with the demands of Christian life: The songs in this collection are intended as a humble tribute to the one who by frisins faith has opened the doors of salvation and who accompanies us throughout the liturgical year, as the first among believers and frisinaa in faith.

Some hymns have been translated, some can be sung with the same melody in both Latin and Italian.

Some songs also provide for the participation of the Assembly which is entrusted with the repetition of the antiphon or other forms of Gregorian chant. Jesus in the New Testament is the same title Kyrios, Lord, that expresses the reality of the Risen Lord and the Lord of history and the world. Let us come with joy to the crib to tap into fdisina peace and quiet of that manger all the strength to bear witness to our faith to the world.

The Eucharist is the center of the universe and of our life. Among the songs offered, are songs of the Ordinary of the Mass, as well as a hymn composed for the International Eucharistic Congress ofin which verses are summarized in the Eucharistic imagery drawn from Scripture and the Fathers of the Church. The Holy Father has recently shown in the Marian prayer, especially the Rosary, one of the most powerful means to obtain from God the graces necessary and to implore his mercy to the world.

In this collection I wanted to pick some that speak to us of the mystery of the Incarnation: The more prepared will be able to use them instead in their complete form, and even with the use of the orchestra. The Church in those days makes us sing the lyrics more beautifully and meaningfully, those theologically the most poignant and poetic, that have marked the faith of centuries of believers and summarizing our Christian culture.

This collection of songs takes us to the discovery of this sublime love that shines in the Cross, even with the help of some valuable texts that we have received from the living tradition of the Liturgy.

Some classic texts of the tradition are restated, such as the sequence of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, in a frisiina and adaptation that tries to explain, in simple language, the great theological content of the Latin text. In the Bible, the Greek word is translated as Kyrios, which is the Lord.

The Resurrection is the triumph of the light of truth and love, and d joy of redemption pervades the universe and awakens in the heart of the world singing and praise.

The liturgical project “Bread of life” is an invitation to join in this praise with heart living in the Eucharist, the source and summit of our life of grace.

The Church sings the face and beauty of the only Son of the Father whose infinite love led him to lay down his life for us. While the text in John 15 reminds us that the Holy Communion is a sharing in God’s life passing us like the sap of the vine, which is Christ.

The Easter Triduum is the heart of the liturgical year. The hymn to Mater Misericordia reminds us of the maternal intercession of the Virgin Mary, Mediatrix of grace and mercy, that is with us in everyday life and under whose mantle we can find refuge and comfort.

These songs are a homage to frisinaa beauty of the Lord. These songs want to express the beauty of the encounter with the Lord and with His Word.

It is a place of love and source of the Church’s life. Every man looks at the cross as the only salvation and the crucifix as a brother and friend who shares the pain with his poverty in the world. Christ is one with His Church, walks with his bride, and she accompanies him through the streets of history, in the midst of difficulties and the storms, the triumphs and defeats, never leaves, especially in difficult times and painful. Then we find some hymns, and one dedicated to Blessed John Paul II, true model of a shepherd, one dedicated to the fatherhood of a merciful God reminds us that the vocation of every priest at his mercy is called to witness to the love of God to men.

The parts of the Ordinary and some songs, such as “Totus Tuus” were written for the priestly jubilee of St.
