But this is proving to be more difficult than they expected. The villagers of Killain are gossipers non pareil, speculating on why George was content to live alone in his small caravan, with an estranged wife, a possible mistress, and are constantly curious about whatever remained locked in George’s caravan. Each sheep in the flock has a distinct character that gives it a unique ability to contribute to the case these traits are listed in the front of the book with the character, just like A shepherd is murdered and it’s up to the flock to find out whodunnit.
I really liked how the sheep perspective developed a true respect for the view from the outside in. And people just ignored them.

The story is set in the fictional Irish village of Glennkill. It remained mildly amusing throughout and the ending surprised me. This is something else. After all George read leonle murder story for them once, so how hard could it be?
I was reading it for a book club I was in, and I didn’t pick it up until the day before our meeting to discuss the book. I hardly needed the directory as it was easy to distinguish the different animals.
