In my view Yates excels in the art of creating practicable guitar arrangements that faithfully represent the music of the original piece and this is what he says about les barricades: This is not necessary as the natural tendency of guitarists playing this kind of texture is to allow notes to ring over anyway.

However I wouldn’t mistake the ease with which it flows for the simplicity of the arrangement, he is a fantastic guitarist IMHO who can make anything he plays flow well! However baricades does look as if it is in C, as is the Yates version. As with any arrangement you might find there is scope for changing some of the fingering to suit your musterieuses needs.
I did it from the original score, but it’s pretty similar to the Voorhorst version, apart from the fingering in places. I tried to get back to the original two in a bar feel, but without all the tied notes that make it difficult to read.
