But the execution was bad. Jez Morrow produces some wonderful shifter stories that draws the imagination out. It starts out great! I feel like bashing my OH over the head with something hard. Jez Morrow’s books are usually amazing – Force of Law is one of my favorite books, but I don’t know what went wrong with this one, but I couldn’t even finish it The men are space fighter pilots.
I’m not trying to be mean but that’s how it came off as Kury’s warriors are also extremely handsome, lean and lethal, similar to Native American warriors; when they meet their mates, they release pheromones to imprint the female and make xommander desires the warrior. It’s confusing and a lot of the times you think parts of a chapter were missing. The plot rambles around without a direction, jumping around in a way that makes you think some part of the book is missing, never reaching a true climax. Again a rather light and easy book, surely not a serious “futuristic” novel.
The beginning of this book lkver quite bizarre and slightly dark and shows us with actions what is later explained in further detail, so we can get clearly in our mind how it could happen. In this case, it’s between Liam, an earthling and Talon, a Kuryeen, who are related to earthlings comander some way, apparently, and allies with Earth.
